Your responsibilities
Performing period end close activities
Intercompany, Payroll and Fixed Assets accounting
Cross-checking and uploading Financial Statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement) in FDM/HFM systems
Full ownership of one legal entity
Preparing Balance Sheet accounts reconciliations
French taxes
Be the lead on VAT reporting (domestic) and liaise with advisor for foreign VAT.
Perform VAT reconciliation, analysis and submission
Prepare French tax declaration (except income tax) under Accounting Manager supervision
Submit US GAAP reporting package on a monthly basis
Day to day cooperation with the local team, building a strong network within Finance organization
Implementing and leading process improvements
Assist with auditors and audit SOX requirements
Our requirements
At least 4 years relevant professional experience in finance and accounting
University degree in Accounting / Finance or gained through experience
Very good command of English and French
Experience of Excel on advanced level
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Working knowledge of ERP accounting systems, e.g. SAP, HFM
Experience of US GAAP – will be considered as an asset
