Senior Global Finance Operations Accountant – Inventory Accounting

Your responsibilities

• Maintaining accurate and timely accounting and analysis of inventory balances for the regional distribution centers, ports and consignment customer inventories

• Interacting with business unit financials, operations management, and warehouse management to help create business value for customers, the business units and the corporation

• Supporting the inventory accounting team to meet the operational goals outlined by the International Paper Agenda.

• Supporting the team leader and team members to maintain High Performance Work Teams

• Understanding the impact of Inventory Accounting operations on the multiple businesses depending on the transactions and information

• Supporting team lead and the team members in process improvement methodologies to facilitate cost savings and process effectiveness and accuracy

• Managing operational exceptions for RDCs, Ports, DCs, and Consignment

• Leading and participating in non-U.S. physical inventory reconciliations and analysis

• Performing inventory or account analysis requested by the business groups

• Training new inventory team members on inventory team processes

• Book to Book Analysis

• Participating on the month-end close processes and procedures for non-U.S. 3rd party locations
