Senior HR Regional Partner, HRP

Your responsibilities

  • The HRP team is leading the development of the employee and labor relations agenda, creating a positive employee relations climate that supports a high-performance, customer obsessed culture.

  • Managers collaborate using different communication channels with the HR Regional Partners to support sensitive and often complex employee issues including disciplinary, performance improvement and grievance processes. These channels can include 1:1s, multiple stakeholder meetings, as well as scalable learning formats to educate Managers on relevant people matters. The HRP will act as an influential partner in helping managers with talent management processes, people development, and implementation of organizational changes. Thanks to their visibility across businesses and their access to data on managers’ and employees’ requests, HRPs are in a position to spot trends and identify emerging needs and address them with innovative people programs, tools and processes.

  • Employee & Labor Relations

  • Help to define and develop an ER & LR strategy for corporate functions in Poland.

  • Ensure compliance with Poland and EU legislation, in partnership with our Legal team.

  • Conduct reviews of employment policies to ensure they are aligned to Amazon’s objectives and compliant with employment law.

  • Process ownership for Employee Relations management, including disciplinary & performance improvement.

  • Handling executive escalations, as well as complex disciplinary and grievance cases.

  • Conduct investigations and manage ER cases, in coordination with the Legal team.

  • Reactively and proactively support managers on people matters that require in-depth knowledge of policies, procedures and local legislation.

  • Provide training on ER matters for CEE based managers and HR teams.

  • Onboarding and HR Administration

  • Design, deliver and continually seek improvements to Amazon’s people processes and policies.

  • Support onboarding programs, in order to guarantee a positive employee experience.

  • Partner with Amazonian Experience and Technology (AET) to ensure that people processes are effectively supported.

  • Support labor law changes impacting local HR processes and compliance.

  • Performance management

  • Partner with people managers end to end on performance management cases.

  • Analyze data and trends on ER and performance management, in order to provide input to improvements and manager capability.

  • Talent Management

  • Coach, train and guide managers during the Talent Management and Annual Compensation Planning processes.

  • Consult Managers on Compensation matters.

  • Support the development of resources, which help people managers to be self-sufficient with Talent Reviews.

  • People Development

  • Enable the success of new & experienced managers by leveraging, delivering and improving existing training, collaborating with the EU HRP SME and global Talent Development teams to anticipate and address emerging needs.

  • Support managers and employees in identifying training opportunities to further develop functional and managerial skills.

  • Support people managers with career conversations, Development Plans/Career Growth Plans and other development initiatives.

  • Organization and change management

  • Manage employees’ programs and support managers to drive improvements in employees’ engagement.

  • Provide support and guidance to HR Business Partners and Business Managers on change initiatives.

  • HR General:

  • Act as a steward of the employee experience and Amazon “culture keepers”, being a point of contact and Program Manager for people tools, processes, programs or projects.

  • Design and deliver Manager Education initiatives to further drive collective education and people manager effectiveness.

  • Analyze data and observations across the organization, highlighting trends and recommending/driving solutions, as appropriate.

  • Participate in national and international projects.

Our requirements

  • Relevant Human Resources experience.

  • Strong business and HR acumen, including strong problem-solving skills, critical thinking and analysis.

  • Proven track record of accomplishments in an international environment, which is fast paced and customer driven.

  • Demonstrate problem solving and analytical capability.

  • Experience in the analysis, design and implementation of people programs, policies and practices to develop and sustain positive employee relations and engagement.

  • Proven ability to prioritize, meet deadlines and make the best use of available resources.

  • Project management and the ability to deliver, with a proven track record of influencing through data-driven recommendations.

  • Extensive experience in POL employee relations, labor relations and employment law.

  • Knowledge of Polish Labor Law.

  • Extensive experience in setting up effective provisions for collective communication and consultation.

  • Exceptional ability to influence and partner with business leaders, managers and HR professionals across different functions and locations.

  • Strong facilitation and negotiation skills; able to listen to and persuade others based on sound logic.

  • Proven ability to operate with autonomy and discretion and use sound judgment in all situations.

  • Fluent in English and Polish.

Optional

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher, in Law, Human Resources or related field.

  • Drives recommendations and prioritization. Connects the dots to put decisions into a broader business context.

  • Experience working in a highly matrixed organization.

  • Coaching and consulting skills.

  • Thrives in a high-pressure environment and able to manage multiple simultaneous priorities.

  • Possesses intellectual curiosity; brings insight into the team/business, especially in a multicultural and multi-location environment.

  • Good understanding of MS Office tools (Outlook, Excel) and HR information systems (e.g. PeopleSoft) would be advantageous.
