Your responsibilities

  • Manage, develop and execute strategy for Indirect Commodities which Strategic Buyer is responsible for

  • Conduct Purchasing Sourcing Process: prepare and address Request for Quotes to suppliers, prepare quotations analysis, negotiate and address Nexteer T&C, obtain recommendation approvals in accordance with Global Supply Chain (GSM) Procedures and Instructions, report savings

  • Constant improvement of cost structure of commodities by defining cost drivers, benchmarking cost elements, achieve ’Price to Price’ savings, improve cash-flow by payment terms with suppliers, Continuous market monitoring trends, prices to ensure and secure short, medium and long terms objectives and goals

  • Maintain frame contracts for year-to-year repeatable purchases

  • Budget creation by new saving initiatives identification

  • Reporting by saving, commodities, suppliers, contract and agreement performance

  • Supplier selection, auditing and evaluation; data base rightsizing and new potential supplier development

  • Maintain strong working relationships with ’internal users/customers’ and vendors; Ensure data transmission to the Users/ Internal Functions

  • Presentation of performance, sourcing decision recommendation to next-level or executive management

  • Assists in assuring compliance with Nexteer’s regulations, policy, processes and procedures

  • Leadership in implementation of shared purchasing process and procedures as well as Global Supply Chain (GSM) tools and systems in new potential locations

  • Ability to adhere to Global Supply Management Organization values based on accountability, integrity and constructive communication, engagement and ownership

  • Promote Nexteer Values in compliance to Supplier Relationship Management philosophy (accountability, communication, supplier’s inquiries, technical competencies and fairness)

  • Constant monitoring of PFT objectives and goals to assure results/performance delivery, in timely manner and required quality level

Our requirements

  • Min Bachelor’s Degree, Preferred: Master Degree in Economics/ Technical Education

  • At least 5Y experience in Indirect Purchasing Structure and Various Indirect Commodities Management; Experience in Construction Sector is a must (experience in purchasing in the Automotive sector will be an advantage

  • English: C1

  • High level of presentation skills and seniority management exposure

  • Meeting leading skills

  • Knowledge in information security

  • Understanding of manufacturing processes and production environment

  • Contracts drafting skills

  • Analytical thinking and ability to gather/gain key information

  • Risk management skills

  • Trade knowledge

  • Knowledge of quality standards for automotive

  • High knowledge of quote comparison & evaluation and method of saving generation
