    Description:

    Do you want to take part in the delivery of global enterprise-wide monitoring solutions using in-house developed solutions based on open source frameworks? We are looking for a motivated Systems/DevOps engineer that is up for a challenge. As a Senior Infrastructure Dev/Ops Engineer you will:

    • Design and implementation of enterprise-level solutions for application and infrastructure monitoring.
    • Help promote a Dev/Ops culture by introducing: automated testing, continuous deployment, self-service, API frameworks.
    • Lead and collaborate with team members, technology partners and other stakeholders to build creative solutions that achieve both personal goals and those set by organizational leaders and the team.
    • Function as an active member of an Agile team, consistently contributing to the team and its Agile practices (tools, common components, and documentation) and Scrum processes.

    Your team:

    You’ll be part of the global Enterprise & Service Management Platforms & Tools Engineering team within Group CTO in Wroclaw. The different solutions developed are based, amongst others, on open source technologies such as Cassandra, Selenium, Rundeck. The team works with the Agile Scrum methodology and strives towards extensive automation.

    Open to discussing flexible/agile working.

    Qualifications:

    • Proficiency in Linux and Linux scripting.
    • SQL and database knowledge (preferably Oracle).
    • You possess excellent analytical troubleshooting skills and ability to own problems through to resolution.
    • You have understanding of Incident/Problem and Change Management disciplines.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

    Desired:

    • Graduate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related subject; alternatively an equivalent experience.
    • Experience with Linux (RPM) packaging.
    • Experience in working with open source software (Cassandra, Rundeck, Selenium).
    • Some development experience (Java, Python).
    • Experience in working with Agile Scrum.
    • Experience in any enterprise level systems monitoring tools.
    • Experience in developing highly available enterprise wide solutions.
