    Your role:

    Do you want to take part in delivery of best in class application software for the entire bank using the latest technologies and best practices? We are looking for IT Software Engineer with experience in large software development environment, who wants to help us with:

    • Evaluating requirements and contributing to technical architecture increments
    • Development and delivery of high quality service
    • Driving efficiency improvements with use of DevOps practices and automations
    • Collaborating closely with internal/external technical teams

    Your team:

    You’ll be part of the Enterprise & Service Management Platforms & Tools Engineering team within Group CTO in Wroclaw.

    You will be developing a capacity management and workload placement system that ensures cost-justifiable IT capacity in all areas of Credit Suisse's IT environment. The development includes an integration with existing enterprise monitoring systems and Credit Suisse's private virtualized environment. The end state platform will consist of a combination of best of breed open source solutions used by top IT companies and internally developed components.

    Open to discussing flexible/agile working.

    Qualifications

    You have (in order of importance):

    • Proficiency in software engineering and development in some of the following: C#, Powershell, Python, SQL, T-SQL
    • You have experience in working with MS IIS, MS SQL Server
    • You have experience in evaluating and translating business requirements into technical specification
    • You have strong written and verbal communication skills in English
    • You have experience in working with Windows and Linux systems

    Would be a plus:

    • Working knowledge of Cassandra
    • Experience in automated testing, CI/CD, Selenium
    • Working experience with Java
    • Working experience with web services
    • Working knowledge of JIRA/Confluence
    • Experience in working with Agile Scrum
    • Experience in any enterprise level systems monitoring tools

    • You are great at identifying and applying effective solutions to complex problems for timely delivery
