Your responsibilities
- Supports the planning and execution of various audit projects, including financial, operational & IT, compliance engagements and other value adding/consulting projects across all business units of the HAVI Group.
- Contributes to the development of the audit department and the organization itself through automation and efficiency initiatives.
- Drafts audit observations, recommendations, and reports for all levels of management and supports communication of audit results.
- Supports the development of data analytics and continuous auditing tools.
- Follow-ups on historic audit observations and the remediation process.
- Develops into an expert and business partner on governance, risk, and compliance matters.
- Works on ad-hoc projects and strategic initiatives for senior management
- Gradually develops yourself into a project lead role and takes responsibility for own engagements.
Our requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in audit (preferably within a Big4) or internal audit in an international environment is a strong asset
- Relevant university degree (e.g. in Accounting, Finance, etc.)
- Knowledge of international accounting standards (US GAAP or IFRS)
- Professional certifications (CIA, CPA, CFE) are preferred
- Experience working with ERP systems (e.g. running reports and inquiries) and BI Tools will be a strong asset
- Fluent English; knowledge of other languages would be an asset
- Analytical thinking as well as an independent style of working
- Excellent questioner and listener with the ability to summarize findings in a spot-on way
- Willingness to travel internationally (up to 50%) with extensive working from home opportunities
