Your responsibilities

Production and Quality Control:

• Work closely with onboarding/new business teams to ensure accounts are accurately setup.

• Follow up on any pending items “post” account launch

• Analyze, research, record and maintain data in Accounting, Trading, & Product systems

• Oversee, review, and audit the Analysts’ work and provide feedback on any errors to improve work quality.

• Resolves and escalates any production or client issues

• Perform data quality analysis and interpretation, identify risk areas and recommend solutions.

• Drive for solutions by continually seeking ways to reduce risk and streamline processes.

• Lead and/or actively participate in various projects in the department

• Stay current on industry emerging issues, market initiatives and regulations and drive changes impacting business process.

Training and Development (Employee Engagement):

• Assist supervisor in assessing the training needs and develop training plans for the team.

• Train and develop analysts and provide feedback on staff’s performance to management.

Project participation (Initiatives & Regulatory):

• Lead and/or actively participate in various projects in the department

• Stay current on industry emerging issues, market initiatives and regulations and drive changes impacting business process

Our requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or finance.

  • 2+ years of experience in the financial services industry (previous investment industry experience preferred).

  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing and to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships

  • Strong attention to detail, quality and organizational skills.

  • Proven ability to take initiative and work under pressure in a dynamic environment.

  • Ability to work independently, prioritize, and meet deadlines.

  • Good knowledge of Excel, Word and Power Point.

  • Ability to organize and prioritize workflow and to coordinate the work of others.

What is the Global Reference Data (GRD) team responsible for?

The Global Reference Data (GRD) team within Front Office Support and Ops department is responsible for the set-up and maintenance of Accounts (Mutual Funds/Separate accounts) as well as managing the static data pertaining to trading and settlement of trades within Internal and External (vendor) applications.

This position is for Client Account wing of GRD with main focus to:

•Gather, analyze and set-up client and product data in trading, portfolio accounting systems & Enterprise Product Master (EPM)

•Actively participate & contribute towards successful new fund onboardings.

•Analyzing and troubleshooting production issues pertaining to client, account and product data and assist production management in the day-to-day operations.

•Participate in departmental and enterprise projects aimed at client & regulatory reporting requirements
