Your responsibilities
Work and establish professional relationships with Business Partners to support, identify, gather information, and develop solutions for existing issues and new business requirements, as well as business prioritization.
Act as an HR, Legal, Corporate Affairs and Communication systems Subject Matter Expert to implement necessary solutions upgrades, and to drive improvements. To do so you will closely collaborate with multiple vendors.
Collaborate with internal IT departments, external vendors and thirds party partners.
Participate in successful demand/project implementation, according to priorities (business case and requirements definition; evaluation and selection of solutions; business process design/redesign; application design/redesign support and configuration/development, testing, change management, communications, training, deployment and sustain plans and implementation).
Provide SME expertise on technical aspects for troubleshooting, applications interfaces.
Communicate status and surfaces issues as needed.
Support go-live and implementation of IT improvements.
Maintain systems documentation.
Be responsible for technical support & administration of user applications, including trainings on new IT solutions.
Our requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in MIS, Computer Science or related discipline
5+ years of IT technical experience, including application and technical support
Strong interpersonal and communication skills in English and Swedish
Strong understanding of network, application architecture, interfaces and PC and server literacy
Project Management experience in technical upgrades, system/improvements implementation
Ability to handle multiple priorities and learn quickly (including technical learning)
Excellent troubleshooting/problem solving techniques
Self-motivated and team player
Good organizing, planning, problem solving and analytical skills
Availability to travel to Sweden for a project implementation phase (10-15% within the year)

Familiarity with paper making processes and the business (will be an advantage)

What we offer
You will be performing the tasks associated with HR, Legal, Communications and Corporate Affairs IT systems utilized across European region, with high emphasis on operations in Sweden. You will collaborate with members of Sylvamo’s Europe regional business and reside in Sylvamo’s Global Business IT Operations team, with dotted reporting line to Enterprise Application Services.
You will work independently to provide support, maintenance and enhancements to existing IT applications, as well as implement new enterprise and local ones.
You will be expected to execute key tasks within a project plan and communicate/coordinate changes to all parties involved.
