For one of our client, a company from the energy industry, we are looking for… Senior IT Business Partner (Portfolio Analyst)

Your responsibilities

  • Know your critical path and product backlog by heart

  • Rigorously manage scope and progress to ensure commitments are achieved within agreed time, cost, and quality parameters for delighted customers and best business benefits

  • Retain your strong focus on time to market & customer experience including creative solutioning, re-use and carry forward actions

  • Keep an eye on financial forecasts and provide ongoing reconciliation of resources and expenditures

  • Assess risks and quickly and proactively navigate diligently through mitigations

  • Partner with key business stakeholders, keep them appraised and engaged for everyone’s benefit; define success metrics and criteria and track them

  • Establish and maintain effective governance forums to drive fast decisions, resolve issues, and delivery

Employer requirements

  • At least 5 years of professional IT experience to work with other parties, like technology vendors, remove blockers and optimize the project deliveries on clear milestones.

  • Master degree in information technology or related discipline

  • Must have leaner mindset with out of the box thinking.

  • Proven ability to master the complexity of interactions, demonstrating strong communication skills, among IT, digital and business stakeholders

  • Strong knowledge of the business to understand and prioritise strategic business requirements.

  • Good understanding of digital capabilities and the value they can deliver to the mobility business.

  • Have good understanding of current card payment industry (B2C cards) landscape and processes as authorization, settlement, clearing

  • Have good understanding on fuel card (B2B cards) landscape (differences from B2C) 

  • Have knowledge on IFSF standards (International Forecourt Standards Forum)

  • Do understand data flows and component in retail site systems (IPT, OPT, Point of Sales, BOS, HOS, EDI Order Processing and Fulfillment standards)

  • Have knowledge on development and testing strategies (within agile or waterfall methodology)  

  • Have knowledge on product management

  • Able to design/plan and coordinate certification tests for B2B and B2C cards

  • Able to plan/coordinate full cycle of product change from backlog

  • Understands networking basics (routing, network segmentation, restriction, TCP/IP basics)

  • Practical experience of working in and with techniques such as agile, scrum, lean start-up, or design thinking and in creation of Minimum Viable Products/Propositions (MVPs)

  • Results-oriented, ability to manage time and schedules to meet aggressive deadlines.

  • Demonstrated project management skills

  • Strong empathetic characteristics, with collaborative style, and can build strong and trusted relationships and networks

  • Advanced English
