About the project
We are looking for a Senior Java Consultant to join Syncron’s Customer Excellence (Expert Services - Service Fulfillment product line) Team in our Warsaw office - this is a new role here, reporting to the manager located in Munich.
As a Senior Java Consultant, you will work closely with our customers on their agenda to transform service and after-sales business into a competitive differentiator. Relying on the Syncron connected services platform that offers domain-fit SaaS solutions for a fully connected services experience, you will help define, configure, test, and deploy game changing business solutions with state-of-the-art technologies. Our international customers are leading companies from the construction equipment, automotive, agriculture, aviation industry, and other related fields.

Your responsibilities
Acting in the first line to ensure Syncron customers realize the most value from our solutions
Transferring business requirements into technical solutions based on Syncron’s standard software solutions
Hands-on guidance (support & controlling) for (junior) Java developers and QA specialists to realize technical setup
Defining integration setup based on Syncron’s standard framework with the customer IT team
Navigating technical implementation challenges in alignment with your project team, i.e. Business Solution Architect and Project Manager
Collaborating with the Product Management department to improve Syncron solutions
Our requirements
You are an awesome colleague, always see the possibilities and accept challenges to grow your horizon
Have completed university with a qualified degree, preferably in IT
Worked a minimum of five years in a software development or technical implementation role, including customer facing
Established a comprehensive understanding of SOA methodologies and service architectures
Made extensive hands-on experience with relevant technologies, i.e.: Core Java and J2EE; Spring (i.e. Spring AOP, Spring IOC, JPA/Hibernate); Code merge & management tools (e.g. GIT, AWS CodeCommit, Maven, Junit); HTML, CSS, and Java scripting frameworks (like Angular / React JS)
Have a structured work approach and stick to your commitments
Feel comfortable in an international business environment and fluently communicate in English

Experience with Rest Services (Spring MVC, Spring Boot)
Web security standards (e.g. OAuth 2.0, SSO, and SAML)
