Your role:
As a Senior Java Developer, you will be working in an agile environment and be part of DevOps-centric culture. You will be working on a huge codebase where some parts are state-of-the-art and other no less important parts are still based on older technologies. This gives you the chance to learn new technologies and to benefit from all the experience you gained in the past to maintain and incrementally modernize the older parts of our platform.
Your tasks:
- Implementing new features for the international platform of the loyalty system
- Implementing code and getting involved early in the overall process and delivering your software up to production
- Refactoring and cleaning up existing code as well as writing new code
Your skills:
- At least 5 years of professional experience in Java programming
- Knowledge of Java EE and EJB
- Knowledge of Microservices, Kafka, Elasticsearch, Cassandra, Docker, Kubernetes and OpenShift
- Extensive knowledge about Clean Code and caring about sustainability
