Your responsibilities
Build TomTom`s own product
Participate in big scale projects with modern technologies - Java 8, Apache Lucene, Cloud Computing, Jenkins Pipelines, Kibana & Elastic Search, Spring, Grafana
Create and maintain high code quality and engineering standards- Pull Requests, Pair Programming, TDD, Test Automation, Continuous Integration, Error-Prone
Keep your autonomy, however, we all learn from each other
Work on challenging domain and problems, expect lots of contribution in solving problems in TomToms own product
Data-driven & Machine Learning approach
Very nice working environment - a good mix of seniority, experience and domain knowledge
Our requirements
4+ years of experience in programming (although we care more about skills)
Good knowledge of Java
Good knowledge of design patterns and clean code principles
Experience or interest in the free-text search domain (knowledge of Lucene/Solr/Elasticsearch is a plus)
Experience in using Git and Maven
Experience with CI and tests automation
Experience with cloud computing (AWS/Azure) is a plus
Good command of English both in speech and writing
We are looking for candidates with commercial experience
