Senior Key Account Manager WELLA

Wella’ is one of the world’s leading professional and retail hair companies. It is a beauty collective with a mission to enable consumers to look & feel like their true self. Its love brands, which include beauty icons such as Wella, Clairol, OPI, and ghd (all together “Wella”), are co-created by & designed for the beauty junkies of today & tomorrow. Following the signing of an agreement with global investment firm KKR for the divestiture of Coty’s Professional and Retail Hair businesses, “Wella” is on its way to become a fully independent, standalone company with its own management team and operational structures. At closing, our new Company will have presence in over 100 countries and an estimated annual net revenue of $2.3Bn. “Wella” and its brands, are and will remain committed to a range of social causes as well as seeking to minimize its impact on the environment.



  • Deliver the annual GS and NR targets
  • Ensure effective stock level at DSR warehouse minimizing local OOS and limiting overstocks
  • Align winning JBP with all DSR, prioritizing market share and distribution growth
  • Negotiate price structure improvement leveraging DSR synergies and portfolio increase
  • Own and manage trade investment budget within authorized spend
  • Influence multifunctional team to ensure maximum focus on biggest strategic priorities
  • Engage distributors in sharing rolling forecast in order to meet forecast accuracy targets
  • Constantly review STT, inventory and GS to identify gaps or opportunities
  • Evaluate risks and opportunities with multifunctional team
  • Deliver perfect store step change based on closing identified gaps across 4Ps.
  • Execute channel strategy focusing on new growth channels (Ecommerce ; Value beauty)
  • Agree on contractual terms for new distributors
  • Ensure distributors respect the selective distribution agreements
  • Deploy precise guidance with clear brand positioning and go to market per brand
  • Serve DSR with excellence on commercial readiness and product supply service level
  • Maximize the presence in the field with regular market visits (30% travel component)
  • Build strong relationships by sharing win-win strategies


  • 3-5 years’ of experience within the sales function with key account management background and ideally Ecommerce proficiency
  • Experience in beauty categories background is an advantage
  • Fluency in English
  • Strategic thinking: Planning, administration, facilitation, creativity, problem analysis, decision making
  • Business acumen: Strong negotiation skills, work-flow structuring, monitoring, product knowledge, multi-tasking, analytical, quantitative, organizational, detail-oriented
  • Creativity and Innovation: Creativity, Business savvy, originality, intuition
  • Leadership and Personal skills: motivating others, development of employees, communication, objectivity, integrity, dependability, initiative, flexibility, sensitivity, impact, tenacity, autonomy, collaboration
