Your responsibilities
- Act as trusted advisor for the senior management on activities relating to Business Financial Crime Risk and Conduct providing insight and recommendations on how to appropriately manage across the region
- Offer business support to Skilled Person and regulators as required. Influence and shape the development of regulatory frameworks in collaboration with internal parties
- Active ownership and responsibility for sanctions management (all issues escalated by GTRF teams to BFRC)
- Manage the delivery of specialist training on Financial Crime Risk (FCR) to continuously improve the control environment and monitoring of risk, including behaviours
- Supervise effective delivery of FCR MI analytics and MI dashboard with relevant analysis and commentary
- Supervise complaints management, providing insight, sharing best practice across GTRF teams
- Ensure project management on global FCR projects with strong collaboration between Global GTRF and local teams
- Active participation in monthly GTRF Europe Business Control Committee (BCC) and related meeting materials
- Manage the Senior Managers Regime (SMR) process for GTRF Europe
- Provide Senior Management with updates on any relevant changes to policy or projects related to BFCR and conduct that have an impact on their area of responsibility
- Identify trends to anticipate future developments in the risk and control environment
- Project Management of conduct related initiatives
- Follow-up market related conduct risks (including supervision of GIRS and GPAD process)
Our requirements
- Broad knowledge of GTRF and other commercial banking products
- Broad knowledge of group and GTRF strategy. An appreciation of the global nature of the Group’s business
- Strong understanding of the international business trade cycle and the business processes involved when importing and exporting
- Strong understanding of the GTRF product and process
- Risk Management related Professional Qualification
- Strong leadership with good communication and interpersonal skills, with excellence in project and time management
- Strategic thinking and high level of business acumen and commercial awareness
- Strong change focus and ability to manage change
- Strong communication, presentation and influencing skills
- Ability to cope with pressure in a dynamic, fast growing and moving environment
- Ability to manage multiple competing priorities at the same time
- Strong project management skills
- Demonstrates sound commercial judgment and strategic
- Strong independent contributor, who is comfortable working in a self-directed mode, on multiple assignments, where the teams will often be distributed across the globe and culturally diverse

and decision-making.
The role will functionally report to the Regional Head of Risk, GTRF Europe
