Your responsibilities

  • timely delivery of subsidiary reports and statutory accounts to key stakeholders, through the review process and up to publishing;

  • assisting with successful filing of HSBC Bank plc 20-F / 6-K documents to the Securities and Exchange Commission. This includes gathering of exhibits; relevant signatures;

  • Responsible for ensuring HBEU SOX controls pertaining to Document Production are adhered to, well managed and evaluated, with timely escalation and raising of issues where appropriate;

  • Controls appropriately managed, evidence gathering and evaluated in Helios;

  • Effective management of queries and comments submitted via the HBEU reporting cycles.

  • Supports the Vice President – Document Production with production activity for delivery of subsidiary reports;

  • Assist with timetable requirements for subsidiary reporting;

  • Effective communication with stakeholders engaged in the HBEU SEC filings, including external legal counsel, auditors, and third party vendors;

  • Acts as a main point of contact for issues and escalations from stakeholders;

  • Help in team resourcing / capacity management;

  • Contributing to team is training developments, particularly system functionality;

  • Effective contributions in ensuring documents are published without formatting error and in accordance with the standardised style guide.

Our requirements

  • Excellent stakeholder management skills

  • Accountancy experience useful but not essential

  • High attention to detail and willingness to engage directly in activity to assist with deliverables

  • Ability to cope with highly pressurised peak periods and maintain a highly organised process

  • Strong communicator (oral and written)

  • Able to foster a positive, open team environment

  • Adherance to an operational controls environment

  • Leadership/line management experience an advantage

  • Process management and operations experience

  • Positive attitude to change

  • Able to work under time pressure to meet deadlines and demonstrate a flexible approach
