The role of Senior Manager, Financial Regulatory Reporting, Poland leads the near shore team in Poland which acts as an extension of the onshore team in London, supporting all the London teams in delivery of functional objectives. This will include working closely with the off shore team in India and all FRR stakeholders.
The FRR business as usual reporting activities are split between Group Liquidity Regulatory Reporting (GLRR) and Group Capital Regulatory Reporting (GCRR). Working across Capital and Liquidity, there is the Business Support team and the Regulatory Production Strategy and Policy team.

Senior Manager, Financial Regulatory Reporting
Key responsibilities include:
- BAU Capital Regulatory Reporting process and controls
- BAU Liquidity Regulatory Reporting process and controls
- Business Support initiatives and new product approvals
- Regulatory Production Strategy and Policy deep dives and remediation work
- Ad hoc queries from internal and external stakeholders including regulatory queries
- Recruitment and development of the near shore team in Poland
- Performance management of the team
- Development of the near shore team working practices and culture
- The near shore FRR team is a new extension of the FRR team and the role carries the responsibility of establishing the team, network, working practices and culture. Initially there are four direct reports, but if the team is successful the strategy will be to grow
- Develop and drive the strategy for the team that fits in with the overall regulatory landscape. Initially this will be focused on the Group's requirements in the UK, but the Group FRR team is a key support and stakeholder for country and regional regulatory teams globally
- The key objective of the near shore FRR strategy is to grow the FRR team's digital and data science capabilities. The goal is to establish a high performing team with regulatory SME and digital problem-solving capabilities. The FRR team has had recent success bringing R, Python, Azure and SAS programming capabilities to bear on urgent and high priority desk top solutions
- In depth understanding of the Group's businesses and products and how they impact regulatory metrics, reporting and associated controls
- Awareness of digital and data science skill sets to facilitate recruitment and performance management of data science colleagues as they join the team
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Qualified accountant
- 5+ years regulatory reporting, regulatory policy and/or new product approval or business management experience in major UK banks (SCB peers)
- expertise in relation to the regulatory capital calculations, including current and future rules and regulations
- experience in managing a team of experienced specialists
- expertise in systems and processes used to generate regulatory metrics, particularly with experience in change projects focused process enhancements
