Your responsibilities
- Run gap analyses and make HBMT, HTDE and PBLU SDIs fit for purpose for consolidated HBCE liquidity and IRRBB reporting requirements
- Support the alignment or harmonization of liquidity and IRRBB management and reporting across Continental Europe, e.g. regarding risk buy-in, behaviouralizations, liquidity risk drivers, operational deposits, HLBA, funding planning
- Support the consolidation or harmonization of the liquidity transfer pricing mechanisms across Continental Europe
- Understand the booking model of the German branch and the implications for Treasury data flows
- Support management in maintaining and enhancing data quality and controls
- Support testing, capability proving and improving processes for Treasury data flows
- Support the development, enhancement and testing of SDIs to ensure that the new core banking platform for the German branch delivers suitable, accurate, consistent and timely data into consolidated HBCE liquidity and IRRBB reportings
- Dedicated support to achieve Project Marco objectives (SDI data flow, data mapping, understand upstream DWF data)
- In addition, there will be a need to support across the full scope of Treasury activities in projects Titan, Marco and Hermes, and to demonstrate collaboration and flexibility irrespective of activity alignment, in order to meet the project goals and timelines.
- Support the accurate and timely delivery of project milestones.
- Works to ensure that the outputs are of a high quality, reflecting accepted regulatory policy and standards with transparent and robust control procedures that withstand internal and external scrutiny
- Maintain strong collaborative working relationship with agreed stakeholders
- Risk, Liquidity and IRRBB expertise and knowledge – to help drive explain and commentary
- Proactively manage and improve the quality and consistency of information
- Manage project outputs in a timely and accurate way ensuring collaboration with information providers
- Maintain collaborative relationships of mutual trust and respect with internal customers / stakeholders
- Adhere to data governance standards
- Drive reporting and data quality in partnership with Fin Ops
- Support delivery of key project requirements
- Manage relationships and inputs from all areas of the projects
- Support the overall performance of the team to ensure meet the challenges of internal and external demands
- Support colleagues across teams and functions sharing ideas, knowledge and supporting initiatives
- Strong collaboration with Fin Ops
- Ensures procedures are designed effectively and operate robustly such that they meet internal and external audit and regulatory expectations, these should be consistent with the global regulatory reporting process standards
- Anticipate, identify and mitigate operational risk in an appropriate, cost effective manner
- Clearly documented process and controls underpinning all MI and analytics production
- Fully documented procedures and BOP
Our requirements
- Post graduate/graduate with 5 years of experience preferably in Treasury or Finance operations
- Deep understanding of liquidity / IRRBB reporting processes and of SDIs
- Strong data analytical skills
- Strong experience in data quality management and remediation
- Strong data/systems background or a strong risk data or regulatory reporting background is essential
- SQL reading and coding skills
- Strong data mining and analytical skills, including hands on experience in managing large volumes of data with a proven ability to interpret and comment on data issues
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral
- Organised and works well to deadlines
- Strong ability to identify and mitigate risks and apply appropriate controls
- Proven experience of project delivery, utilising relevant tools and techniques to ensure consistent delivery
- Commercially minded and ability to make decisions in a timely manner

This is a new role that will support the transformation in Continental Europe through projects Titan, Hermes and Marco. Projects Titan covers the transfer of HTDE to HBCE and the branchification. Project Hermes covers the transfer of HBMT and PBLU to HBCE. Marco covers the development of a new core banking infrastructure for the German branch. The role is responsible to provide high quality, timely and accurate, information, analysis and Reporting to support our two main deliverables.
