Your responsibilities
Lead, manage and develop the People Operations team
Act as an HR BP for the Product, IT & Technology departments and oversee onboarding, employee engagement, learning & development programs, talent and performance management processes, career-pathing, and succession planning in those teams
Work closely with our teams and managers to constantly improve employee engagement, performance, and productivity
Advise and coach our employees and leaders on topics related to People & Culture at Brainly
Proactively identify needs of the teams, managers, and the organization and provide suggestions and solutions
Develop HR Business Partnering area to match the growing needs and scale of the organization
Together with the People Operations team and external vendors, drive optimization and constant improvement of processes connected with employee experience/life-cycle (onboarding, compensation & benefits, payroll, HRIS, reporting, organizational changes, offboarding)
Initiate, implement and improve programs supporting Brainly’s growth and business objectives
Partner with the Talent Acquisition and Organizational Development teams to provide a holistic employee experience that makes Brainly the best place to work and develop
Ensure compliance with legislation and internal policies
Our requirements
6+ years of HR BP/HR Manager experience in an international tech company
Experience in supporting technical/engineering/product teams
Experience in building and leading an HR/People Operations team
Experience in implementing various and complex HR company-wide programs/projects
Extensive experience in optimizing and improving all employee experience/ employee life-cycle processes
Change management experience
Experience in coaching and mentoring leaders from all levels of the organization
Experience in aligning strategic HR projects with business goals
Experience working in a rapidly-growing tech company (considered an asset)
Experience working in a global environment within a dispersed team (considered an asset)
BA/MA/Postgraduate in psychology, human resources, or organizational development (considered an asset)
Cultural agility and the desire to embrace and foster a culture of diversity and inclusion
A hunger for knowledge and a passion for keeping up with and applying the latest trends in HR
Ability to create solutions that address the business needs of the organization
Strong relationship management and interpersonal skills

A data-driven approach to HR
Very good knowledge of Polish legislation connected with the People Operations area
Fluent in English, both verbal and written
Team management skills
Superior written and verbal communication skills
Excellent organizational and planning skills
Slack and G-Suite (email, calendar, drive)
BambooHR or a similar HRIS system
Greenhouse or a similar ATS

The People & Culture team is looking for an experienced Senior Manager of People Operations to bring their expertise and passion to our team. You will be a strategic partner to our leaders and managers in all things related to People Operations. You will develop, implement, and monitor various HR projects aimed at improving our processes and strengthening our culture. You will advise and support our employees through the whole Brainly employee lifecycle, manage and lead our growing People Operations team and cooperate with our Talent Acquisition, Organizational Design, and Workplace Solutions teams.
Additional details:
Location: Remotely from Poland (during the pandemic period, all Brainly employees are working remotely, however as soon as the pandemic ends, the position will require to relocate to Krakow or visit our office in Krakow regularly (few times/month))
Start date: as soon as possible (however, we’re happy to wait for the right person)
