We are currently looking to recruit for a:

Senior Material Planner

As a Material Planner, your role is based on sustained delivery of operational results, including supply assurance, service and innovation in Purchasing/Planning process, which are required to meet the business needs. A person in a such position should have complete knowledge about the process, KPI’s, how to manage suppliers, lead operational and capacity call with them, monitor inventory level and lead optimization projects.

What You Will Do:

  • Lead operational meeting with supplier to ensure capacity availability, service level, production prioritization and optimization/improvement projects
  • Order processing, timely follow up of incoming material, delivery coordination, co-ordination with AP for payment issues
  • Liaison with demand and supply planner, warehouse, logistics, customer service & other internal teams
  • Daily check of MRP requirements and order statuses to ensure delivery dates are achieved
  • Updating order delivery date to accurately reflect confirmed delivery date
  • Self-vendor management including finding gaps/problems in daily cooperation and looking for solutions to improve the process
  • Drive inventory reduction initiatives (keeping healthy inventory levels)
  • Report savings/cost avoidance according to KPI’s for particular team/position
  • Accurately and timely maintaining process and control data information in the system. No escalations. Quick reaction for requests
  • Lead or active participation in team projects and process improvements, project management
  • Analyzing the problems - 5WHY, teleconference management
  • Business trips to suppliers/ warehouses
  • Providing on-the-job training to newcomers

What You Will Need:

  • Commercial education or relevant bachelor’s degree
  • Min. 5 years’ experience in a related field (supply chain, customer service, sales administration) and good knowledge of purchasing/planning process
  • Fluent English, additional foreign languages would be an asset
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite Excel, Word, Outlook, SAP (especially MM, PP, SD module)
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Solid communication and cooperation skills
  • Attention to details, high quality of work
  • Good organizational and time management skills, with ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
