Drive and participate in requirements evaluation, design reviews and other team development processes
Manage the review of product requirements specification based on input from customer OEMs
Continues to develop an understanding of products, manufacturing processes, and product applications
Continues familiarization with design, development, and failure analysis using DFMEA, customer returns, and specific development projects
Investigate and evaluate new materials and their appropriate use within emobility product lines
Interfaces with appropriate support departments, such as design, testing, quality and production
Performs analysis of designs and problems and reports results in a summarized format and provides recommended actions
Reviews and provides engineering recommendations on design deviations for manufactured and purchased components
Provides guidance and assistance to other departments regarding DCDC/ Inverter’s products. Works with Manufacturing, Quality, Purchasing, Sales, and Suppliers to drive cost and quality improvements
Collaborate with manufacturing process owners (fabrication, assembly, welding, calibration) to understand fundamental capabilities and ensure that design specifications are met. Document and control design revisions using engineering change orders.
Analyzes customer returns, diagnose existing and potential problems, formulate cost-effective solutions. Solves production, development, and field problems with proper tools usage (8D etc.). Actively participate in the ECR/ECO implementation and help with industrialization of those
Works closely with higher-level engineers to increase functional knowledge.
Attends on the TIER 3 meetings within the plant and actively translating manuf. needs into the product design
Support quality and industrialization teams to analyze parts fall out during production
Support new product introduction by receiving the design outputs from product lines
Effectively uses Six Sigma for Design and Development (SSDD) tools. Has proven experience in some of the major tools like: QFD, VAVE, FMEA, DOE, 8D/FRACAS, Statistical Reliability Modelling for Reliability Prediction, DFM, DFA, P-diagrams, Boundary-Diagrams, Functional-Diagrams, etc
Learns and uses CAD system and other Engineering systems to do basic design changes himself/herself
Work with industrial team to support production line set up;
Define and communicate critical-to-quality characteristics of product designs
Min. 3 years of experience in engineering position
At least Bachelor of Science in Engineering (mechanical, mechatronics) or related field (Master’s degree level preferred)
Strong mechanical or electro-mechanical engineering background and proven design capabilities
Experience in mass production environment
Experience in development and packaging Printed Circuit Boards.
Good understanding of vehicle driveline architecture, basics of Electric driveline architecture
CAD/3D modelling skills in CREO and SolidWorks
Technical knowledge in electrical power distribution component and assemblies.
English language proficiency, enabling daily communication with international team
Capability to connect to people of another culture and time zone
Experience with Six-Sigma quality tools and methodology
Good interpersonal skills, particularly with respect to written and oral communication

As a Senior Mechanical Engineer in our eMobility sector, you will conceptualize, manage the design, development, testing, technical documentation and launch of new products to existing and future transferring product lines. This role will be supporting the production on daily basis and be the interface with other engineering personnel for product improvement, cost reduction and other issues as needed. This position will be based at our Tczew, Poland location and will be a part of a team developing eMobility systems solutions. In this role you will work closely with engineers located in various locations in the United States and France.
