    Description:

    Connectivity Services is part of the Group CTO organization within Credit Suisse and delivers global Telecommunication services in partnership with the firm’s strategic outsourced vendors BT and Swisscom (BTSC).


    Primary services include Data, Voice and Security Networks including Carrier and Telecommunications infrastructure.


    Organizationally, Connectivity Services provides Product Management, Network Engineering standards and regional Infrastructure and Operations services across Switzerland, EMEA, APAC & AMER regions.

     
    Role Description:

     
    A new team is being established specialising in Network Monitoring, Analytics, Tools and Automation. The team will be a critical function within Connectivity Services.

     
    We are looking for the Network Services & Automation Team Leader to join our growing team and be responsible for leading and establishing this new specialist team.


    This role is a phenomenal opportunity to develop, grow and lead a new team who will make positive change and influence decisions in a complex environment as we move forward with next generation technologies (Automation, Cloud, Hybrid IT).


    You  will be expected to lead the team in respect to:

    • Recruitment and initial on-boarding
    • You will lead and develop a strategy for the Automation Team
    • You will be responsible for Book of Work (scope, progress, status, reporting & prioritization)
    • You will represent the team in local, regional and global forums
    • You will be taking care of Day to Day functional and organisation management of the team
    • You will be evaluating, recommending, deploying and operationalizing tools and products that support the required monitoring and analytics frameworks
    • You will evaluate and enhance reporting (including periodic, ad-hoc and self-service dashboards)
    • You will support the goal to achieve efficiencies through automation tools and techniques. Develop a strategy to report on key efficiency metrics
    • You will develop procedures to report network availability, reliability, capacity or utilization as well as develop strategies, identify requirements and define specifications for automation systems
    • You will participate and support troubleshooting process definition
    • You will provide advanced troubleshooting assistance and routinely collaborate with various CS teams on operational issues, projects and initiatives
    • You will liaise with technical colleagues, vendors and product specialists to define and implement network services and products; with specific emphasis on the tooling, monitoring, operating, delivery and analysis features and functions

    Qualifications:

    • You have prior experience of leading a technical team and utilizing their skills to deliver positive outcomes
    • You have experience of working within a network or IT infrastructure function
    • You have an understanding of industry solutions and vendors for network management and performance monitoring
    • You are able to interpret technical analysis and utilize it to inform decision-making
    • You possess good written and verbal communication skills coupled with good interpersonal and consultative skills
    • You have the ability to engage with different cultures and people at several levels in an organization
