Your tasks:
- Writing and maintaining secure, scalable and efficient code
- Working closely with front-end developers
- Deploying large scale applications to the world
- Driving automated tests, learning and using DevOps/CI/CD skills
- Assisting co-workers with technical issues and fixing bugs
- Participating in SCRUM ceremonies (planning, estimation, daily, retrospective)
- Communicating with third parties while working on integrations
- Code review (we work on GitHub)
Skills & Requirements:
- Deep understanding of backend architecture for easily scalable applications
- At least 3 years of experience in Node.js, JavaScript & TypeScript or at least 3 years of experience in other strongly typed language and ability to move to TypeScript quickly
- Knowledge of SOLID principles and the ability to use them in JavaScript
- Familiarity with RESTful API’s
- Familiarity with SQL databases and no-sql storages
- Strong understanding of OOP principles
- Fluent in English speaking, reading and writing - mostly used for documentation reading & writing
- Knowledge of GIT
- Ability to estimate time to complete specified project tasks
Nice to have:
- HTML5, CSS3 (SASS), Vue.js knowledge
- Knowledge of SCRUM methodology
- Knowledge of Github Actions CI/CD
- Social communication skills
- Good knowledge of modern EcmaScript (ES2020+)
