Global Facilities Management delivers optimized and reliable facilities management services to create a flexible, transparent and cost efficient environment for the bank. We cover building related services (e.g. facility services, move & workplace services, mail & courier), business support services (e.g. room management & reservations, reception services & switchboard), as well as staff services (e.g. employee catering, health services).

The primary focus of this position is to ensure that all processes in relation to CH FM Infrastructure are adhered to and that periodic tasks are completed in a timely manner.

In this role you will be taking care about:

  • Planning FM spend by providing monthly forecast update and annual budge
  • Pursuing month end closing activities covering: accrual calculation, update of expected spend and review of orders with overspend, providing comments on significant variances M2M, YTD2Budget, M2FcST
  • Monthly Reporting by providing an update of FM Tool with YTD data overview covering all GL postings (invoices, manual payments, accruals, corrections, other entries) with split of costs on regular spend and variable
  • Regular controls such as: Manual payments template review (data transferred to VAT Tool), coding review of invoice postings (orders vs GL entries), review expected balances in closing file versus expected as per Tool to make sure accruals completeness
  • Controlling (review of postings) Variable Spent - Engagement with various clients
  • Preparing ad hoc reports and managing data for Business Cases
  • Process improvements, making sure that all necessary controls are in place and working effectively

Open to discussing flexible/agile working.

You offer:

  • Minimum 3 years of practical experience in operational controlling
  • Fluent English (spoken and written), German required (min. B1)
  • You have strong communication skills and excellent degree of independence and assertiveness
  • You have advanced Excel skills
  • You have University degree in finance, business administration or accounting
  • You are a dedicated problem solver with analytical skills and ability to seek non-standard problems and think out of the box
  • Proven process and controls knowledge
  • You have service oriented personality with good interpersonal skills and are able to build and cultivate positive relationships with clients
  • You are happy to take initiative and have ability to work independently as a part of remote team, handling and prioritizing multiple tasks
