Your responsibilities

Purpose of the role

Currently, Lundbeck GBS Krakow is a stable organization, which is recognized as a trustworthy business partner for various Lundbeck stakeholders worldwide. With the new strategy, GBS is developing and taking on more scope from the business, thus contributing greatly to the strategy of the whole organisation.

Considering the above, we are currently looking for a Senior Payroll Coordinator who will support the delivery of payroll for our Danish colleagues, both in the offices and in the production sites. The person will join the payroll implementation project to take part in the knowledge transfer and all other activities before the launch of DK payroll support in Krakow. You will have a unique opportunity to co-create the new process and ways of working.

Your job and key responsibilities

-Actively participate in the implementation of DK payroll support, including knowledge transfer, establishing new ways of working, parallel run and hypercare period

-Coordinate end-to-end delivery of payroll process for DK blue-collar and white-collar employees, as well as the management team, taking responsibility for correctness of input data and timeliness of payroll execution

-Manage relationship with the payroll vendor and verifying their delivery against SLAs and KPIs

-Manage relationships other teams in GBS and the Headquarters where relevant

-Support junior colleagues and train new joiners

-Act as back up of team manager when required and support manager and the team with change management in the projects

-Execute payroll controls as designed

-Represent the function in internal / external audits

-Troubleshoot complex issues related to payroll delivery

-Propose and coordinate improvement initiatives related to end to end payroll process

-Taking part in the payroll vendor implementation project and knowledge transfer and within area of responsibility agreed with manager

Our requirements

  • Excellent understanding of end to end payroll delivery

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in payroll delivery for multiple countries and cooperation with the payroll vendors, including support of Denmark (knowledge of Danish payroll is a must)

  • Participation in similar scope migrations would be of benefit

  • University degree (professional certificate in payroll practice would be an asset)

  • Experience in HR operations delivered in multinational environment and in maintaining data in HR SAP (experience with Success Factors would be an asset), as well as knowledge of Microsoft suite

  • Vendor management experience

  • Continuous improvement drive supported by concrete examples

  • English at C1
