Your responsibilities
We are looking for a focused, passionate, and responsible Senior Payroll Specialist with knowledge and expertise in payroll, who will help assure correctness of all payroll related tasks on a monthly basis for European countries.
The purpose of the role
You will be responsible for coordinating end-to-end delivery of payroll process for relevant Business Areas, so Lundbeck employees can be paid correctly and on time. You will be responsible for statutory activities in order to make sure Lundbeck is compliant.
Meet the team
As Senior Payroll Coordinator, you will join payroll team in Hire to Retire Department that is currently under project of changing main Payroll Service Provider. Team consists of 9 people who take care of altogether 27 entities.
Why is this role important to us?
• Managing multiple payrolls coordination - being responsible for assigned payroll coordination activities in a timely, accurate and efficient manner in line with local legislative requirements and company internal policies
• Coordinating end to end delivery from payroll data input to monthly, quarterly and annual books closing
• Managing ongoing relationship with payroll vendors, Lundbeck business, GBS internal functions and other parties relevant for payroll process and verifies their delivery against SLAs and KPIs
• Executing required payroll controls
• Taking initiative to evaluate and find solution to issues within the process and across the affiliates supported by the whole team, and working with minimum supervision
• Representing H2R in internal/external audits
• Supporting GBS colleagues providing guidance within HR administration/benefits/payroll
• Translating labor law changes announced by payroll vendors/HR community into effective payroll solutions across the team
• Troubleshooting complex issues related to payroll delivery across the team
• Proposing and coordinating improvement initiatives related to end to end payroll process, as well as taking part in projects as assigned representing H2R
• Training and coaching new joiners (also in the H2ROperations Team)
• Acting as back up of team manager when required and supporting manager and the team with change management in the projects
Our requirements
Minimum 3 years of experience in payroll coordination in multinational environment
2-3 years of experience in maintaining data in HR SAP, as well as knowledge of Microsoft suite
Excellent understanding of end to end payroll delivery
High level understanding of all delivered HR processes in scope
Basic experience in vendor management
Experience in driving improvement initiatives
English at C1
University degree in Human Resources or equivalent work experience
Consistently achieving results, even under tough circumstances
Attention to details
Experience in data analysis
Strong communication skills (both written and oral) and focus on building relationships with vendors and HRBPs
Ability to work collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives
