Your responsibilities
Act as the Founder’s CPO – be the central point of contact for the Founder and own overall successful delivery of the development goals
Develop a strong understanding of the Product, Industry, Marketplace, and Key User Personas in order to support the development and growth of the Founder’s Product
Manage products through entire life-cycle, ensuring continued success and value delivery to clients following launch
Bleed Agile – working as part of a wider technical Agile Development Team working in collaboration with Product Designers, Scrum Masters, Product Managers, Development Teams, and QAs to deliver and improve products
Efficiently action and resolve any issues that occur
Assess opportunities for application and process improvement
Be commercially aware, focusing on development of product business case, setting metrics, and tracking progress to ensure product roadmap is successful
Mentor Product Managers
Evangelise Agile Ways of Working
Regular travel to the UK is required for this role, the SPM will be required to travel over to London a minimum of 6 times per year for Product Team Sessions plus additional Product Team Bootcamps This is not negotiable due to the location of the wider Product Team and Founders.
Additional UK travel is required for Founder Meetings. This is separate to the Product Team sessions
Our requirements
Client facing Product Management experience.
Experience of carrying out product validations – utilising a variety of techniques to validate assumptions
Experience creating and owning a product roadmap or strategy.
Ability to travel to the UK
Experience of Product Delivery including User Story Creation, Prioritisation (based on value), and End User Testing
Comfortable using lean, agile, and software development lifecycle frameworks
Experience of working with a full Agile Team: Product Managers, Product Designers, Scrum Masters, Developers including QAs
Excellent communication skills (internal, client, written and verbal)
Experience of implementing and managing Analytic Tools
Comfortable with tools such as Figma/Balsamiq, Trello (or similar), Typeform, Webflow (or similar), Analytics tools: Mixpanel, GoogleAnalytics, GoogleTagManger, Hotjar, Heroku, Google Sheets, Zapier.
Humble, but confident and have a desire to continue growing and learning
You are an inquisitive client facing Product person who is passionately obsessed in building the right thing at the right time for the right reason.
You love Product Validation as much as Product Development
You love to work on multiple product developments – variety is enemy of bored
You are used to working within tight timeframes, budgets and able to work across multiple products. We don’t fix scopes so embracing constraints and using the time you have in the best way is essential.
You have an equal interest in building up businesses from scratch and growing existing products
You like understanding how things work end to end
Great communication comes naturally to you and you are not afraid to ask lots of questions or have difficult conversations to get the right solution.
You are well organised, detail orientated and data driven.
You love to research the latest trends and industry best practice and share them with your colleagues
You respect and value colleagues skill sets and roles and enjoy collaborating with them to create great Products
