About the project
The IT Product Owner is having ownership and responsibility for a specific IT product domain. He/She is accountable for designing and delivering the roadmap that will improve the user experience for the systems within their domain. He/She is working in strong collaboration with various stakeholders to agree on priorities within their domain and build plans to deliver against those priorities. He/She is recognized as the go to leader and trusted advisor for the supported IT product domain, working collaboratively and adaptively to constantly meet the needs of their customers and deliver value to GSK.
Your responsibilities
IT Product Domain: Vaccines Manufacturing & Logistics, Process Automation integration, Advanced Manufacturing Technology, Process Robustness, Operational Planning & Scheduling, Project & Portfolio management, Digital & Data Continuity (CMC, PLM, MDM), Digital Twin Services
Technology Strategy & Enablement: In the role of trusted advisor, strong domain knowledge including one or more of the following: business process, industry best practices, in market solutions.
Demand Management: Collaborate with business stakeholders to manage and prioritize the product backlog to produce the product set with the highest business value. Accountable for the product backlog and product cost forecast.
Governance: Establish business value, manage delivery and service performance and manage business risk within the scope of their product. Responsible for representing the product in governance boards such as Steering and Design Authority.
Project Delivery: Deliver the optimal set of products and services which meets the business strategy and requirements. Accountable for creation and execution of the product roadmap. May complete hands on configuration, providing detailed designs and wider impact assessments. The ability to think big picture and customer first is imperative.
Adoption Strategy & Change Management: In the role of change agent, support both the product teams and the business in agile approaches to solution development and adoption, building excitement, momentum, visible success stories and clear value-based versions of vision as roadmap plans come to life.
Our requirements
Master’s Degree - Technical Degree eg Engineering, Business Engineering, Information Technology.
Min. 5 years relevant Delivery Management or Project Management experience in major global IT organization (biopharma, manufacturing or consulting field preferred).
Fluent in English (oral and written)
Willing to work in an international environment
Experience in IT project management and IT software delivery, ideally in large multinational companies
Experience in defining the vision on the product development team, using high-level perspective to define goals and create a vision for development projects connected with “Factory of the future” technologies
Good experience in relationship management, influencing and communication skills
Passionate about new innovative technologies
Knowledge and assessment of emerging trends (both functional and technical) within domain
Understanding of several complex business processes and system/service domains
Persuades others in straightforward situations, adapting presentation to arouse others’ interest - Lets others know own position when asked; displays energy and self-motivation
Communicates effectively and regularly (at all intermediary phases of the project) to inform the project clients and sponsors on progress made, using standard formats
Must be able to collaborate as part of high-performing teams in an international environment, ready to travel on an occasional basis. Strong affinity for working effectively in cross functional teams and with a broad range of stakeholders
Ability to both think-process and think-technical
