Senior Project Manager

THE ROLE:

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our projects team based out of our Wrocław Centre of Excellence. This rapidly growing team is responsible for the development, implementation, and delivery of Regulatory & Compliance contract solutions for our clients. The individual must be driven with extensive project management experience with a strong sense of delivery and client satisfaction.

Specifically, the Senior Project Manager will:

The Senior Project Manager (SPM) will be accountable for ensuing their projects are delivered to agreed scope, budget, timeline and quality parameters, whilst maintaining strong client satisfaction. The SPM will:

  • Manage and implement large scale, complex projects or multiple smaller scale projects. The projects will entail managing a client-facing deliverable, often on client site
  • Directing and supervising the project from planning through execution and into closure, including working with the project teams to:
    • Work with the project stakeholders to define project scope, requirements and objectives
    • Launch projects, developing artifacts such as Project Definition Documents and Project Management Plans which outline the project approach to managing scope, budget, schedule, quality, stakeholders, risk, communication etc
    • Develop a project schedule and budget
    • Direct the work of the project, ensuring that the project team are appropriately assigned to suitable tasks in line with the project schedule
    • Monitor and control the work of the project, ensuring that the project is being executed in accordance with the Project Management Plan
    • Measure and report on project performance using appropriate metrics
    • Manage stakeholder engagement
    • Manage budgets, client communications and resources
    • Identify risks and issues and develop appropriate mitigation plans
    • Proactively manage, monitor and control execution of deliverables and status
    • Manage critical path, dependencies, and contingencies
    • Ensure the project stakeholders' expectations are understood and managed
    • Effectively manage changes in scope, budget and schedule ensuring contract alignment at all times and progressing change orders where necessary
    • Lead, manage and develop junior and senior team members and develop appropriate training plans etc
    • Ensure that the project team follows all Factor Methodologies and quality assurance processes
    • Effectively leverage technology systems to support delivery effort
  • Managing complex projects on client site and within a Wrocław Centre of Excellence
  • Effectively and efficiently operate in a deadline driven environment in order to meet client expectations
  • In addition to coordinating and being accountable for delivery, the Senior Project Manager will actively assist in the design of Factor solutions working in conjunction with the Projects, Sales and Solutions Architecture teams, building client understanding, confidence, and enthusiastic acceptance for proposed solutions, resulting in Factor winning the proposed work, whilst ensuring that any proposed solution can be delivered in line with expectations
  • Be comfortable in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of autonomy and accountability

QUALIFICATIONS:

In addition to the above, here are the required skills, knowledge, capabilities, and education for this role:

Essential Criteria

  • Bachelor’s Degree or similar
  • Significant experience of client service and problem solving leadership within a leading Professional Services organization
  • Significant project management experience, ideally within a Financial Services industry
  • Significant people management experience. Experience of managing multiple teams, and being accountable for their work output
  • Relentless focus on client’s needs and consistently raises the bar on service excellence
  • Extensive experience of having worked remotely and within client environments
  • Superb time management, judgment, decision-making and problem solving skills
  • Thrives in both individual and collaborative team environments
  • Expert high-impact communication and presentation skills
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite (including PowerPoint and Excel. MS Project experience highly recommended)
  • Designs and performs sophisticated analyses of work output and other client reports
  • Knows service requirements across multiple clients
  • Creates operating processes to drive efficiency
  • Very strong commercial awareness, working directly with senior business managers
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Operates independently, with no supervision
  • Legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located
  • Formal Project Management Certification, ideally PMP
  • Experience of growing teams and individuals career development within a growth organsiation

Desirable Criteria

  • MBA preferred

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

As a member of an ISO Compliant center, the candidate will be required to follow the policies and procedures on Information Security Management System in place at the Centre of Excellence and globally at Factor. As a member of the Factor team, the applicant will have access to various company and client assets and will be required to maintain the level of security as identified for each asset.
