Your responsibilities

The Finance Technology Strategic Calculations team is responsible for the architecture and delivery of calculation applications in Bank finance department. We are the creators and custodians of the systems which support the Bank’s financial and regulatory reporting functions, and the related management information. The Team's remit is to be the competency center for our core Regulatory systems consisting of calculations engines which provides the necessary data\reports for local regulators (FINMA, PRA etc.) as well Basel reporting. The function is within the core mandate for the bank and is highly critical.

The team is developing platform that is used for regulatory reporting accordingly to Basel III & IV rules. The scope of tasks is related to investment banking products and bank’s capital adequacy calculations. Working with large volume of data is BAU job (data analysis). Project is delivered using modern technologies like Hadoop, Oracle, Java and using Agile methodology.

You are a QA Engineer who can translate User Stories and Acceptance Criteria into tests. You are responsible for providing valid test cases for Business User Stories, as well as ensuring the scope of other types of tests: regression, performance etc. You are experienced in banking sector and have knowledge of Big Data (our stack: Java/Spring Boot/Spark). A successful candidate will ensure high quality of test coverage in various business and technical aspects. Familiar with requirements engineering, collaboration with business stakeholders and IT teams to address product owners needs and deliver working solutions.
