Senior Quality Assurance Specialist

For our Client- one of the leading international medical devices companies- we are looking for a person, who will fill the position of Senior Commercial Quality Assurance Specialist.

 

A person employed in this position will be responsible for:

  • Conducting strategic quality planning meetings, where relationship leaders and quality experts meet to discuss joint opportunities, potential roadblocks to collaboration, activities and resources required, and share strategies and relevant market trends.
  • Participation on distributor summits, which bring together all strategic distributors to share the company’s strategy, provide feedback on its strategic supplier relationship management program, and solicit feedback and suggestions from key distributors that can be used to implement company’s quality strategy.
  • Definition of the process for evaluating, qualify and grade the quality capability of distributors and grade them accordingly with company’s quality plans (complaints handling, repackaging relabeling, stop shipment, field actions, incident reporting).
  • Performance of operational quality reviews, where individuals responsible for day-to-day of quality management of the relationship review progress on joint initiatives, operational performance, and risks.
  • Support evaluation of regulatory landscapes both nationally and internationally to contribute to business strategy. Support execution of regulatory compliance reviews, preparation of various documents supporting the regulatory compliance, frequent direct interaction with major distributors and direct interaction with regulatory authorities where applicable. Support the compilation and submission of regulatory documentation to global Health Agencies in electronic and/or paper format, in accordance with agency requirements and company timelines. Responsible to ensure management of regulatory information utilizing the business systems and processes.
  • Delivery effective two-way communication between the region, agency business management and employees at all levels, to ensure quality improvements are identified and addressed.
  • Supervision of distributor organization quality personnel to ensure incidents and trends of poor quality are identified and escalated when appropriate. Identifing training needs, teaching/coaching employees and supporting Quality, Sales and Marketing in several countries.
  • Acting as the quality system expert across the globe on quality and compliance, supporting all distributors on quality related activities and reporting regularly to the global management on the effectiveness of the quality management system and assisting in the developing customer and process quality improvement objectives.

We are looking forward to meeting Candidates who have:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in the Pharmaceutical or Medical Device/lVD industry.
  • Master's Degree Business, Chemistry, Physics, Pharmacy, Biology, or Engineering, or the equivalent in experience.
  • A broad understanding and a strong knowledge of the Quality Management Systems applicable to Medical Devices.
  • International experience leading and negotiating with different cultures, language and way of doing business.
  • Exceptional collaboration, negotiation, engagement and teamwork skills. Extensive experience building relationships, understanding a client's needs and influencing without authority.
