This role is part of Regional Controlling organization and is critical in ensuring compliance with US GAAP and reporting requirements.

Client Details

Our Client is a brand new SSC from Healthcare&Life Sciences sector, currently in the greenfield stage of building it's structures in Warsaw.

Description

• Lead regional and global reporting requirements for all areas under Regional Controlling responsibility (e.g., monthly B/S and P&L Flux reviews); act as a key point of contact for the global team on ad-hoc, monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting requirements.
• Lead the regional GL team to support monthly/quarterly/annual close processes.
• Lead the regional VAT team in all aspects of VAT compliance (return preparation, reconciliation, management of VAT refunds, reporting requirements, etc.) and VAT accounting.
• Lead enhancement of financial processes, tools and templates and reporting activities for Regional Controlling.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with other finance and non-finance teams
• Ensure adherence of processes to company's procedures, internal and external audit requirements and local rules and regulations;
• Build and manage high performing teams
• Support local, regional, and global projects, as required; provide financial expertise in such projects.

 

Profile

• At lest 10 years of relevant professional experience.
• Proven experience in a multinational environment and/or audit.
• Very strong knowledge of US GAAP.
• Very strong analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills, diplomatic, and flexible
• Fluent in both written and spoken English.
• Strong reporting tools including MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Ability and willingness to travel internationally as required.
• Experience in JDE, Blackline and W-Desk is an advantage
