Performing general accounting and reporting tasks, including processing journal entries, calculation of accruals, posting and process allocations
Performing inventory accounting by recording, adjusting inventory movements and processing stock-takes results
Maintaining fixed assets accounting
Tax calculation and reporting
Reconciling GL accounts (special attention paid to GRIR accounts)
Reconciling intercompany transactions
Coordinating month-end closure activities of assigned entities
Resolving standard and non-standard queries and issues related to relevant processes
Assisting internal and external Audits
Ongoing mentoring and support for junior team members
Driving trainings for other teams/departments
Contributing to and driving process excellence initiatives (according to LEAN methodology)
University degree in Finance & Accounting, Economics or Business Administration or recognized accounting qualification (for e.g. ACCA/CIMA qualification)
3-4 + years of experience in Finance & Accounting in international companies (including IFRS knowledge)
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel skills (functions, pivot tables)
Knowledge of SAP
Solid understanding of General Ledger processes
Ability to act independently and confidently as a business partner to Local Business Units
Solution-oriented approach to work
Open mindset towards change and engagement for continuous improvement
Paying attention to details, good organization of work, ability to meet deadlines
Fluency in English (B2) (speaking and writing)
