Your responsibilities
Develop software in C++ for telecommunication systems
Perform Unit testing in Google Test framework
Integrate testing in Java and Erlang
Test manually on occasion
Perform trouble shooting
Work in Agile framework (Scrum or Kanban)
Create technical documentation for introduced software
Driving team's activities with product responsibility
Performing continuous analysis and requirement handling
Contribute to new features from the study phase
Developing competence in technical domain
Our requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Science (e.g Computer Science, Telecommunication) ) or equivalent formal technical education
At least 4 years of experience in C++ programming (C++11 standard or higher preferred)
Testing skills
Analytical thinking skills and ability to learn quickly
Good communication and team working skills
Good communication in English
Good to have
Experience in creating advanced software architectures, redesign and refactoring, competent in design patterns
Familiarity with version control systems (GIT)
Google Test framework competences
Low level communication protocols knowledge (Modbus etc.)
Basic Java knowledge

Our Product Development Unit Compute & Digital Silicon - PDU CDS is one of the main R&D units within Ericsson’s Radio Access Network domain. The unit is accountable for Ericsson products, including Baseband, Street Macro and Site solutions, both for SW and HW, over the full lifecycle. Compute & Digital Silicon is a competence center for common design functions (e.g. digital ASIC and FPGA, PCB layout, power, mechanics, thermal, interconnect, synchronization, security, packaging, material development) and tools. We are now looking for a Senior Software Developer with C++ experience and testing skills to develop the software which controls, supervises the radio base station functionality like Power System Control, Cabinet and Climate Control, External alarms handling in 2G, 3G, 4G and 5G. Our product is developed in modern C++. We use frameworks i.e. Protobuf, GoogleTest, higher level tests are automated in Erlang and Java. We are developing our product on Linux.
