As a successful Senior Software Engineer you will develop, build and improve the tooling to automate our platforms and services that reside in our multi-tenant, multi-datacenter, and multi-cloud infrastructure. Your platform services will support Acxiom developed services integration, automation, testing, deployments, and operations.
Our stack depends on a variety of languages including Java (Spring Boot), C++, Javascript (AngularJS, NodeJS) and more. Knowing these technologies will help, but being prepared to learn will make the difference.
Your responsibilities
You will deliver private and public cloud-based service offerings.
You will build services to enable small teams the ability to operate infrastructures with diverse security, compliance, and customer requirements.
You will write code to develop tools that support the full IT lifecycle.
You will interact with users to define system requirements and/or vital modifications.
Our requirements
4-year college degree in related field of study or equivalent work experience
5+ years java or other OOP language with Spring Boot framework
Using Apache Spark with Java
Proficient on the Linux CLI
Supporting skills: Git, Maven, OAuth, REST, SQL, Eclipse/IntelliJ
Demonstrated analytical and communication skills
Ability to maintain positive relationships with partners
Sense of ownership mentality and track record of successful high-quality results
Optional
Exposure to Frontend (HTML/Javascript) Frameworks and Backend API Development
AWS or GCP professional cloud developer or security certifications
Docker / Kubernetes / Microservices
