Your responsibilities

  • Support quality and industrialization teams to analyze parts fall out during production
  • Analyze and get approval on deviations from suppliers / production
  • Support quality team to analyze parts back from customer. If necessary, connect to the product line team for getting product expertise
  • Evaluation of new hardware platforms that the SW will run on, including performance tests
  • Execution of module and system tests during development and extension of automated test environments
  • Participate in the analysis of software requirement, functional decomposition, DFMEA and technical solutions
  • Support code review effort and release software components and documentation
  • Support unit level test and troubleshooting activities
  • Apply the appropriate software standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the software development life cycle
  • Support Eaton emobility procurement activities and lead software technical negotiation
  • Support diagnosis analysis, implement new SW, support flashing
  • Support end of line testing in terms of calibration and software installation

Our requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science
  • Min. 3 years’ experience in automotive industry, production environment
  • Experience with ISO26262
  • Good knowledge of Vehicle communication bus (CAN, LIN, Flexray), diagnostic protocol and associated analysis/calibration tools (Vector Canoe/Canape or ETAS Inca)
  • Ability to debug embedded software with different tools (debugger / CAN bus rest simulation, etc…)
  • Good understanding of vehicle markets and the environmental requirements and related qualification testing required
  • Experience of working knowledge of C/C++ and software development tools for embedded microcontroller
  • Good ability to work into an Agile environment
  • Good interpersonal skills, particularly with respect to written and oral communication

As a Senior Software Engineer in our eMobility sector, you will conceptualize, manage the design, development, testing, technical documentation and support the launch of new products to existing and future transferring product lines. This role will be supporting the production on daily basis and be the interface with other engineering personnel for product improvement, cost reduction and other issues as needed. This position will be based at our Tczew, Poland location and will be a part of a team developing eMobility systems solutions. In this role you will work closely with engineers located in various locations mainly in the United States and France.
