About the project
We are looking for a talented Solution Consultant. The role is a fulltime engagement for an innovative CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) vendor. CPQ system allows to optimize sales process for largest manufacturing companies.
Your responsibilities
- As a Solution Consultant you will be a part of all stages of Software-as-a-Service projects implementation. You will implement CPQ software for enterprise manufacturing companies to maximize value created for the customer by configuring it to their needs.
- The work involves analyzing, mapping and implementing of both product structures as well as business processes. Your focus towards customer’s needs followed by application configuration will give you great insight in the customer’s products and their business requirements. It requires a combination of creative, logical and business thinking as well.
- This role is in multinational team, serving customers in the entire North American market. You will be reporting to the Director of Success Delivery North America based in Chicago.
Our requirements
- Systems implementation experience, including: designing solution architecture, interfaces configuration, technical solution implementation or configuration. ERP/CRM/PLM implementation projects will be most relevant;
- Experience in customer-facing consultancy roles, or similar experience including: requirements gathering, time estimation, lead customer workshops, project planning together with project manager, risk management;
- An ability to: understand customer requirements and turn them into creative technical solutions, to understand customer business process and translate it into technical requirements, to explain to the customer how to best utilize the solutions provided;
- Business orientation with ability to comfortably act as a trusted advisor to the client stakeholders;
- A cooperative mindset and great social skills;
- Good Analytical and Communication skills;
- Excellent spoken and written English;
- Ability to travel up to 25%.
Optional
- Previous experience in SaaS;
- Graduate in Computer Science or Engineering;
- Experience with manufacturing companies;
- Understanding of IT Landscape and SaaS delivery process;
- Exposure to ERP/CRM/PLM systems implementation;
- Experience in Architecture/Design /Detailing of Processes, problem definition, ex. Product development, Manufacturing Processes, Manufacturing Pricing Methodologies, Order Management, CPQ;
- Knowledge and exposure to Model configuration, Configuration Flow, CAD, Basic Programming, Workshop Facilitation, Requirements Gathering, Agile Development.
