Your responsibilities
Leading and participating in the assessment of suppliers’ Quality Management Systems (QMS), processing control policies, and improvement methodologies
Identifying and developing new suppliers
Managing the quality aspects of transition projects to achieve cost reduction and increase part localization in the region.
Coordinating and collaborating with operations, procurement, quality and engineering to escalate and resolve risks to ensure customer satisfaction.
Ensuring suppliers meet quality and delivery metrics.
Performing training and providing guidance to suppliers to allow the successful completion of activities such as QMS audits, RRCA, FAI, PPAP.
Our requirements
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Engineering/Supply Chain/Manufacturing/Quality Engineering or related area with a continued proven track record of performance achievement and growth and increased level of responsibility.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, Operations or Supply Chain. Master’s degree in a related field preferred.
Knowledge of quality systems, policies, procedures, and ability to apply them to supplier requirements
Knowledge about Advanced Product Quality Planning and PPAP tools such as Process Flow, FMEA, Control Plan, MSA etc.
Knowledge about FAI
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills and ability to influence individuals and groups
Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation and facilitation skills
Travel Requirement: up to 30%, some international travel is required
