About the project
You will be a key member of the Enterprise Infrastructure, Storage and Backup team, defining, maintaining, and troubleshooting critical technical infrastructure. You should be multi-skilled, demonstrating excellent technical competency with the ability to ensure the highest levels of availability, performance, and security.
This position will take an active hands-on role delivering and managing Information Technology solutions, technical initiatives, and business projects with on premise equipment as well as cloud hosted services. You will utilize your communication, analytical and problem-solving skills to help resolve issues as well as design and implement solutions.
Your responsibilities
Incident management and fault resolution with Service Level Agreements
The build, support and maintenance of IT solutions for on premise, hybrid and cloud infrastructure
Maintain security, backup and alerting
Adhere to change management and security controls
Liaise with vendors, other teams and customers for problem resolution
Increase efficiency through automation using scripting and orchestration
Provide new and maintain operational documentation
Provide some on-call support (1 week every 5 weeks)
Our requirements
Hands on experience managing storage, backup and compute infrastructure
Good understanding of networking and security technologies
Experience with monitoring systems
Knowledge or experience with scripting and programming languages; bash, powershell, python, perl, and RESTful API
Very good English language skills
Proven ability in troubleshooting, problem solving and incident management
Flexible to working hours (providing some overlap between PL and US hours)
