About the project

You will be a key member of the Enterprise Infrastructure, Storage and Backup team, defining, maintaining, and troubleshooting critical technical infrastructure. You should be multi-skilled, demonstrating excellent technical competency with the ability to ensure the highest levels of availability, performance, and security.

This position will take an active hands-on role delivering and managing Information Technology solutions, technical initiatives, and business projects with on premise equipment as well as cloud hosted services. You will utilize your communication, analytical and problem-solving skills to help resolve issues as well as design and implement solutions.

Your responsibilities

  • Incident management and fault resolution with Service Level Agreements

  • The build, support and maintenance of IT solutions for on premise, hybrid and cloud infrastructure

  • Maintain security, backup and alerting

  • Adhere to change management and security controls

  • Liaise with vendors, other teams and customers for problem resolution

  • Increase efficiency through automation using scripting and orchestration

  • Provide new and maintain operational documentation

  • Provide some on-call support (1 week every 5 weeks)

Our requirements

  • Hands on experience managing storage, backup and compute infrastructure

  • Good understanding of networking and security technologies

  • Experience with monitoring systems

  • Knowledge or experience with scripting and programming languages; bash, powershell, python, perl, and RESTful API

  • Very good English language skills

  • Proven ability in troubleshooting, problem solving and incident management

  • Flexible to working hours (providing some overlap between PL and US hours)
