Senior Tax Accountant

Your responsibilities
- Responsible for Input and Output VAT reconciliations,
- Formal and content-related verification of posted documents for VAT and CIT,
- Control of the correctness of transactions in VAT registers,
- Preparation of monthly VAT returns and corrections,
- Ongoing monitoring of changes in VAT and CIT regulations,
- Preparation of data for GUS and NBP reports,
- Calculation of monthly CIT advance,
- Collect accounting data to prepare and support journal entries,
- Month-end support,
- Support audit requests, working with external auditors,
- Participate in finance projects to support global expansion,
- And other ad-hoc accounting tasks.
Our requirements
- English on communicating level to work with cross-functional groups,
- Ability to work independently and be results oriented,
- Knowledge of tax and accounting law, in particular VAT and CIT regulations,
- Problem solver, system oriented and strong analytical skill,
- Detailed-oriented with effective organizational and time management skills.
- MS degree in accounting or finance required or equivalent experience required,
- Minimum 5 years of general accounting experience including min 3 years in taxes,
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel,
- Experience with SAP or other ERP system,
- Excellent written, oral and communication skills to work within team and cross-functional groups.
