As a Software Test Engineer for Logix Integration Team, you will have the opportunity to contribute to Studio 5000 Logix Designer releases that are intended to develop new functionalities that will address the needs of our customers. This position will allow you to collaborate with global cross-functional teams and may require you to be the technical lead for a software release. In this position, you will be a crucial player in software development. You will actively participate in all the development lifecycle stages and support your team throughout the process. You will also help ensure that developed products meet requirements and are within total quality management standards.

Your responsibilities
Contribute to a team of embedded software engineers in a positive, high-performance work environment as an active implementer of the automated test infrastructure.
Estimate, plan, develop, and execute tests: system, integration, performance, functional, front-end UI, etc.
Develop test strategies
Utilize automated test tools and methods to ensure full functional coverage is attained
Work closely with the rest of the development team and other teams to ensure proper resolution to reproducible defects
Research, consider and explore new possibilities utilizing the latest technologies and standards.
Effectively collaborate with others through mutually supportive professional relationships, open and direct communications, honesty, and respect
Able to learn and understand complex control system concepts.
Mentor less experienced colleagues, and encourage knowledge sharing and learning among the development community
Our requirements
Experience in software testing with a focus on automation
Strong knowledge of QA standards, best practices, and tools
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience in the fully automated testing environment – web or desktop applications
Skilled in creating automated tests in C++/C#
Familiarity with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery
Experience in integration and e2e testing
Fluent in English (written and spoken)
Focus on continuous improvements
Good communication skills

Experience and understanding of agile/scrum software development and testing process
TDD/BDD testing experience
Skilled in creating scripts in Python/Powershell,
