About the project

As AXA XL continues to invest in its end-to-end capabilities, the Senior Transformation and Change Specialist will play a key role in providing support to the Program managers in meeting the objectives for the team.

The primary focus of the Transformation & Change Management team is to drive execution or large/cross-functional programs with a common framework working closely with all stakeholders to ensure programs are delivered successfully (incl. business adoption) on time and within budget.

Your responsibilities

  • Project initiation and execution: Support the projects by working closely with key stakeholders across business, technology and other functions (TCD and non-TCD) to initiate projects and meet the defined milestones during execution.

  • Program support: Provide support to workstream leads/business product owners of agile teams and other project/program managers (e.g., GT project managers) on the execution and monitoring of against milestones, KPIs and budget (incl. savings tracking).

  • Change Management: Support the coordination of change management steps throughout the project life cycle

  • Post Implementation: Conduct lessons learnt after project implementations to build out best practice modes.

  • Issue Resolution and tracking:

  • Ensure status reporting, maintenance risk/issues logs

  • Be vocal on any key issues and risks identified to support driving resolution and raise key decisions to program management.

  • Program Reporting: Support the overall communication to all stakeholders (program sponsors/Steering Committee.

  • Expected to provide support on large programs, generally managed by other Transformation and Change Program Managers.

Our requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in project management in the insurance industry and in an international environment

  • Solid organizational skills, communication and presentation skills

  • Good understanding of business, coupled with technology knowledge and expertise in software development life cycle

  • Ability to collaborate across different teams and stakeholders

  • An analytical thinker and ability to solve problems

  • Familiar with software development approaches and lifecycle (including Agile)

  • Knowledge and preferably prior experience in working in an Agile environment.
