We are looking for a talented and motivated individual to join the Quantitative Strategies Analytics Specialist Team in Wrocław. The team works closely with the global teams to provide analysis and support as well as assisting in the development of our core analytics libraries. There will be the opportunity to acquire both financial and technical skills through a combination of on-the-job learning, business focused projects, and in-house training. Junior members of the team will gain exposure to different areas of the group through working closely with experienced team members in Wrocław. The role, while embedded within Quantitative Strategies team, will be supporting projects within Treasury Division (Chief Financial Office).

This is a challenging role within our Treasury Execution Analytics team within Treasury in Wroclaw Poland where you will contribute to our Risk, Valuation, and P&L analysis function by supporting the Global Bank.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • You will conceptually develop and enhance the Treasury trading risk and P&L framework
  • You will host regular global meetings on risk and P&L including the creation of discussed reporting
  • You will manage Treasury Execution risk flags
  • You will manage a team of Treasury Quantitative Analysts
  • You will collaborate with global Treasury Execution desks as well as with Treasury Finance, Quantitative Strategies, and Market and Liquidity Risk Management on a continuous basis
  • You will participate in the ongoing development of the valuation methodology, processes, and system landscape of capital, funding and banking book positions including derivatives
  • You will be exposed to the bank’s senior management as part of presentations and governance forums
  • You will execute regular valuation processes and ad-hoc analyses
  • You will have an opportunity to work in a fast changing environment under regular scrutiny of regulators and senior management

You Offer

  • You hold a Master’s degree in Finance, Economics or a related quantitative field
  • You have 2-5 years of Treasury or trading risk management experience, or in a related function
  • You have some prior experience in people leadership
  • You have deep knowledge of banking, finance and banking regulations
  • You are proficient in Excel as well as overall good MS Office skills, MS Access would be an asset
  • You have programming skills in Python and VBA, further skills in SQL, R
  • You are highly motivated self-starter with analytical skills, winning personality and connected thinking
  • You are fluent in English
  • You are fast learner with flexibility and timely deliver of results under pressure
  • You have ability to work independently coupled with great team spirit
