About the project
Schenker operates a Unified Communication Service (Telephony) worldwide based on Cisco infrastructure which is in transition to become a Hybrid solution where MS Teams Telephony System would be a key component.
Onboarding of new countries and users are intensively ongoing. The service covers EMEA, APAC and Americas and provides the users with communication services in the fields of
- VoIP(Voice over IP)
- Contact Center and Attendant service
The work will involve collaboration with the external providers and alignment with other internal service delivery teams, as well as a close collaboration with our country organizations and the rollout program lead.
Quality and Availability requires a permanent improvement including all aspects of the service.
Responsibility for the planning, integration, migration, configuration and operation and maintenance of infrastructure services and systems
Monitoring of utilization and availability in accordance with the agreed SLA’s
System operations and maintenance and system documentation in accordance with compliance requirements as well as quality assurance and development of standards
Providing 2nd/3rd Level support
Change management in the UC infrastructure and responsibility for providing change results
Continuous improvement of the architecture and technology of the service to achieve enhance service quality and usability
Derive improvement measures in the area of architecture and technology and take responsibility for the implementation
Promote development and implementation of technical guidelines and standards
At least 3 years of hands-on experience with a Microsoft O365 environment focusing on MS Teams and integration with Public Switched Telephony Network (PSTN)
Experience and understanding of Session Border Controller (SBC) preferably with AudioCodes. Understanding of CUBE configuration as an advantage
Understanding of SIP protocol (trunking) and VoIP architecture
Excellent English language skills
Microsoft Teams Voice Engineer Certification
Cisco Certification (e.g. CCNP Collaboration, CCNA Collaboration)
Knowledge about UC environment based on Cisco products
German or other language skills
Knowledge or working experience with systems like provisioning tool (for ie. VOSS) and attendant console (for ie. Peter Connects, Anywhere365 Attendant Console)
Experience from operation of contact center solutions is a plus, especially from Cisco based solutions
