Your responsibilities
Preparing, reviewing and filing monthly and periodically VAT returns, European Sales Lists, European Purchase List and SAFT in compliance with legal requirements in EMEA region, procedures as well as accounting and financial policies of DXC
Reconciling VAT accounts and reviewing VAT account reconciliation according to accounting and financial policies to assure the best quality
Managing VAT accounts during Month End Closure (MEC)
Supporting SOX and external audits
Providing Balance Sheet Review for VAT
Cooperating closely with Tax Managers and Country Controllers in EMEA region
Carrying out of ad hoc analyses for management purposes
Our requirements
Associates/Master’s degree in Finance/ Accounting preferred
Typically 3+ years of experience in finance, in particular in the area of tax (VAT)
Understanding general VAT mechanism, common (EU and international) system of VAT and its practical application
Strong business application skills, especially MS Excel and other MS Office components
Experience with SAP environment would be an advantage
Strong understanding of accounting processes
Strong analytical skills
Fluency in English
Strong communication skills
Good project management skills
