Your responsibilities
Responsible for all aspects of operational IT Service delivery following global standards and guideline defined by FIT
Responsible that the expected outcome is delivered and maintained with agreed quality
responsible for a regular KPI reporting about the services and their performance in their area of responsibility; responsible to adhere stipulated KPIs
Responsible for providing internal service production costs for service cost calculation and budgeting
Demand, control and support the continuous service improvement processes
Responsible for complete and up to date service documentation (including technical, operational, compliance aspects)
Responsible as contact person, escalation authority and coordinator for the business-critical and other services for the customer within the Service Tower
Responsibility for a functioning operational global service management (based on MIG standard / ITIL), aligned with customer requirements and processes and its documentation
Ensuring quality in project management and in the service delivery process, including tower and cross-divisional service improvement process
Proactive, independent, regular, and cross-departmental review of service contracts for effectiveness, efficiency and costs of operational systems and responsibility for the successful implementation of measures
Responsible for control and coordination of a large number of different business-critical applications / services
Our requirements
Academic background: Computer Science or similar studies
Min. 5 years of IT experience including +2 years of leading position in global IT delivery organization
Certification (or knowledge) for ITIL Foundation, ideally ITIL intermediate certification achieved
Knowledge and excellent understanding of IT infrastructure technology at least for one responsible service area: (Compute, Storage, Operation Systems, Backend Services, Virtualization, Containerization, IT Automation & Orchestration, IT Configuration Management, Backup, Hybrid Cloud Architecture (AWS, Azure)
Good knowledge of DC technologies and operations
Good knowledge of service controlling and financial management for services
Good knowledge of project management
Efficient management of dynamic workloads
Leadership experiences (especially leading global service teams), leading by example, staff motivation
Excellent English communication skills, German will be an asset
