Respond to all new Service Desk tickets to analyze, troubleshoot, resolve and redirect employees’ PC hardware, software, network and peripheral issues.
Sets the tone for the team and coordinates efforts of the team. This person is also a point of contact for questions encountered by Help Desk Analyst I staff.
Manage and coordinate the Sev Alert Process in the event of any outage following specific guidelines for Sev Alert Support. This includes managing call bridges, contacting On Call staff and management as well as creating and
updating Sev Alert notices.
Monitor the Service Desk to help ensure that SLAs are being met.
Perform first level technical support and simple installations of software as needed.
Responsible for diagnosis and distribution of reported issues and determining the severity of issues.
Coordinate new hire set ups. This will include verifying that all child tickets have been assigned and are properly associated with the parent ticket.
Assist users with account access issues within the network and production systems.
Monitor and answer all incoming calls into the Help Desk.
Ensure that the information provided by the end user is clear and accurate prior to any escalation and includes all work completed to that point.
May provide system administration support for select back office applications.
Assist with the development, revision, and delivery of training and procedural materials for the Help Desk.
Practice and enforce HireRight security policies and procedures.
Working hours – 9am-5pm/10am-6pm
Minimum 2 years experience in telephone help desk support or similar
