The Building Services Sales team is characterized by a flat agile structure and a result-oriented culture based on respect and diversity. As part of Service & Solutions you will work in a dynamic, international team spread over 8 different countries in Central and Eastern Europe.
The Grundfos service journey is under development and it is up to you to make an important contribution. Within Poland you will work together with various stakeholders within the sales and service department.
What a typical day looks like: As a Service Sales Engineer of our Construction Building Services (CBS) Sales department you are finalizing a commercial proposal for the renovation of a large boiler house. The renovation offers the customer significant energy savings and also a higher functionality through innovative monitoring systems. It concerns end-to-end solutions from engineering to after-sales, with maximum care for the customer.
You then have two virtual meetings with large end users to explore their needs and which innovative Grundfos solutions fit in. Solutions can vary from basic services, tailor-made service contracts to as-a-service concepts, tailor-made on the criticalities and vitality of the assets.
At the end of the afternoon you will update your administration and prepare an important presentation for the next morning to the energy manager of a large hotel chain. You start your evening satisfied.
Your responsibilities consist of:
• Realizing and exceeding the set targets (financial and customer focus), • A proactive approach to end users, FM / ESCOs and service-oriented installers,• Develop a predictable sales pipeline of Services & Solutions concepts,• Contributing to the (further) development of new service propositions from pilot to successful rollout.
This position reports to acting Central and Eastern Europe Building Services Service Sales lead.
What do you bring?
We are looking for a truly proactive (service) sales professional. Through a consultative approach you know how to bind existing, but certainly new customers based on technical knowledge, among other things. You are a self-starter, a result-oriented go-getter and a hunter with an eye for long-term relationships. You bring a network in the installation sector (service branch) with you and you are a real team player. To succeed in this role you will have to strongly develop your network within end users.
• A completed technical education or equivalent, • Demonstrable track record in achieving and exceeding commercial targets, • At least 5 years of commercial experience in the installation industry, • Strong technical insight and experience with (opex-oriented) service propositions, • Strong communication skills and an excellent relationship builder, • Master of the Polish and English languages, • “Getting things done” mentality and an agile mindset.
