About the project
ServiceNow QA Test within the CBS Quality Assurance (QA) team responsible for our functional and non-functional test automation development and maintenance, in line with our QA Automation Strategy.
This role is required to work within project & product teams to deliver automated testing of APIs, repeatable processes, functionality and some back-end/infrastructure activities. This role will be responsible for ensuring alignment to the QA Automation Strategy led by our Test Architect. Our test automation work is varied spanning: desktop estate (Mac, Windows), off the shelf, custom developed integrated apps.
Your responsibilities
Executing testing for large, complex delivery on ServiceNow technologies;
Developing functional test automation frameworks
Bring quality in CI/CD pipelines for deliver;
Able to assess and review unit tests;
Reviewing test processes and practices;
Guide and support others for building and improving team practices.
Our requirements
4 year’s test automation /test development experience;
Experience in working with teams in DevSecOps;
Experience of testing ServiceNow;
Strong knowledge & use of QA methodologies e.g. Agile, Waterfall, DevOps, BDD;
Experience of ServiceNow test automations and tools, e.g. AutomatedPro, Selenium;
In-depth knowledge of test toolsets and development languages including C#, Java;
Knowledge of HTML, CSS, XML, JavaScript and web services;
Understanding of DevOps pipeline i.e. change, release & deployment processes ;
Understanding across multiple disciplines of test, e.g. functional, integration, performance, compatibility;
A good awareness of the role that ServiceNow testing tools play in the software development lifecycle, the types of tools available and where it is appropriate and useful to apply them;
ISTQB Foundation Level certificate (or equivalent experience);
Test management tool expertise (such as Atlassian Jira, Azure DevOpsetc.)
Professional and confident style, with drive & enthusiasm and with a strong ability to multi-task;
Acute attention to detail.
