Your responsibilities
- Managing the Import & Export shipping activities according all international transport & customs regulations;
- Managing ADR (Dangerous Goods) flow according all international transport regulation;
- To manage effectively the supervised team (participation in recruitment process, work results control and evaluation, motivating, passing the information) with a goal to optimise the work time and tools utilization;
- To prepare required analysis, budgets and any reports connected to the activity;
- To actively participate in development and improvement of the transport-/shipping-&ADR activities/processes;
- Ensuring the proper quality of communication between all involved processes/departments;
- Coordination of the daily collection of parcels from several distribution centres of the company by carriers;
- Taking care of the correctness of master data in internal WMS / ERP systems and systems of cooperating companies (mainly couriers) and also related to Dangerous Goods;
- Planning tranport demand and loading capacities based on transportation forecast , warehouse production and carrier ressources to achieve maximum transport efficiency;
- Designing and implementing a carrier collection guideline for the distribution centres in close cooperation with external companies, couriers, agencies and custom offices;
- Implementation of the new projects in cooperation with other departments and HQ (also from foreign branches of the company), i.e. transport, customer servcie, controlling etc.;
- To care for safety at work and security of assets. Recommend improved EH&S practices.
Our requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar position, preferably in an e-commerce company, courier or shipping company;
- Higher education;
- High understanding of delivery and ship processes;
- Knowledge of matters related to international transport;
- High ethical corporate standards;
- Knowledge of MS Office or Google Spreadsheets;
- Fluency in the Polish language and professional fluency in the English language;
- Ability to make quick decisions and act decisively in a dynamic environment;
- Focus on in-depth research of root causes of problems and proactive search for solutions.
